laughtivism

i wonder what you think about this attitude of “promoting laughtivism”

isn’t it obscene to tell suffering people that they should laugh?
and applause them because they do?

if you agree, what is the “ideology” here that hides this obscenity?

i detect several problems on the video, but they are so mixed up that it’s hard to enumerate them…

firstly, making the audience applause for some resisting nation is disgusting, since it is an invitation to a collective patronizing over that nation.

secondly, promoting laughtivism as an abstract ideal simply means “be ridiculous (in a particular way) and you’ll be ok” (reminds me of the three doctors in irma’s injection dream).

thirdly, we must consider “laughter”s role in the actual events….
